The Roblox Developer Forum hosts technical discussions about the Roblox platform and experience development. Creators can also use it to get community advice, file bug reports, and learn about platform updates. Anyone can read public DevForum posts while logged out.

Meet the age requirement

Since March 18, 2026, users must have a Roblox account age checked as 13 or older to log in to the DevForum.

To complete an age check, sign in to Roblox, select the gear icon, open Settings, and choose Continue with Camera or Continue with ID. These options use facial age estimation and identification-document verification, respectively.

If you already completed a Roblox age check for chat, you do not need to repeat it for DevForum access.

Log in to the DevForum

After completing the required age check, remain signed in to Roblox and visit the Roblox Developer Forum. Selecting Login automatically creates an associated Developer Forum account when you are signed in to Roblox.

Gain posting access

New DevForum accounts begin with limited viewing access. Roblox Support says full posting access is granted after spending some time reading forum information and resources.

Roblox recommends reading the Developer Forum rules, browsing topics, and using the Discourse tutorial bot to learn how the forum works. The first Discobot message is available under Messages, accessible from the avatar menu.

Additional restrictions for private features

DevForum login requires an age check showing the user is at least 13. Sending and receiving Direct Messages and participating in the Collaboration category require an age check showing the user is at least 18.
