Break and Steal an Egg Guide (October 2026): Demon King Rift, Zones, Pickaxes, and Free Rewards
Quick Summary
 • Break and Steal an Egg is a Roblox game by ILGames x Eggs where you swing a pickaxe at eggs, grab the animal inside, and run it back to your base before a guardian catches you.
 • There are nine zones outside the Safe Zone, starting at Forest (Recommended Speed 5) and ending at Galaxy (Recommended Speed 25,000,000,000).
 • The developers have not released any codes as of October 2026. Real free rewards come from the Community Rewards section in the Shop (a Legendary Sabertooth Egg) and the Free Rewards area (+10K Speed).
 • The Demon King Rift is a timed event in the Volcano zone. One recorded clear paid 686 event tokens, and the Demon Egg in the event shop costs 500 tokens.
 • Pickaxe Power only controls how fast an egg breaks. Running Speed comes from treadmill training and Trails, and the two stats solve separate problems.
How the Core Loop Works
Every run follows the same order. You pick a zone, walk up to an egg, and swing your pickaxe until the shell cracks open. An animal drops out, and the moment you pick it up a guardian starts chasing you. If you reach the Safe Zone with the animal, you place it in your Pen and it starts earning cash. That cash pays for stronger pickaxes in the Pickaxe Shop and for Trails that multiply your Speed.

The Safe Zone is the hub of the game. The treadmill, the Pickaxe Shop, the Trails Shop, and the Free Rewards area all sit inside it, and guardians cannot follow you there. The Index on your screen tracks every animal you have hatched and stolen, and the game description sets filling that Index as the long-term goal.

Speed matters more than anything else early on. Guardians chase every thief the moment an animal leaves its nest, and the higher the zone, the faster and more aggressive the guardian. Players who train Speed on the treadmill before pushing into a new zone keep far more animals than players who rush in with an empty base.

Free Rewards: Sabertooth Egg and +10K Speed
Break and Steal an Egg does not use typed codes. Instead, the developers give out two free rewards through menus inside the game. Both were documented in a GameBoost guide published October 6, 2026.

The first reward is a Legendary Egg that hatches a Legendary Sabertooth pet. It costs nothing beyond joining the Roblox group ILGames x Eggs Community. The username entry box is case sensitive and expects your full name, so a shortened or retyped version will not verify.
 1. Open the Break and Steal an Egg game page on Roblox, scroll down, and click Developer to open the ILGames x Eggs Community.
 2. Click View Community, then select Join Community to become a member.
 3. Check the Communities tab on the Roblox homepage to confirm the membership went through.
 4. Launch the game and click the Shop button on the left side of the screen.
 5. Scroll to the bottom of the Shop menu until the Community Rewards section appears.
 6. Type your full Roblox username with the capitalization exactly matching your account, then click Verify.
The second reward is +10K Speed from the Free Rewards section to the right of the Trails Shop. It requires a Like and a Favorite on the game page plus joining the community, and then the Claim button pays out the Speed for free. Claim this one first. Guards chase every stolen animal, and Speed is the stat that decides whether the animal reaches your base safely.

Hatch the Sabertooth Egg and place the pet in your Pen right away. Animals sitting in the Pen generate the cash that funds your first Trail, and a Trail is the purchase that speeds up early progress the most.

All Nine Zones and Speed Gates
The map spreads outward from the Safe Zone. Nine zones surround it, each one raising the stakes with a higher Recommended Speed, a tougher guardian, and eggs of rarer rarity. Every zone hosts two or three egg types, and an NPC guardian turns aggressive the moment you steal from its area. These figures come from a GameBoost zone guide updated October 8, 2026.
Treat each Recommended Speed number as a readiness checkpoint rather than a hard lock. Carry a buffer above the listed value before pushing into a new zone, because larger eggs slow the carry home and a guardian that catches you costs you the animal.

Desert is the first real grind, and skipping it for the flashier Candy zone tends to stall an account. Snowy brings the first heavy chase pressure, so run treadmill sessions right after reaching the gate. Candy draws the biggest mid-game crowds, and Ocean sits so far from the Safe Zone that route planning pays off there more than raw clicking speed. Galaxy holds the Secret rarity eggs under a hydra guardian, and it asks for the late-game Trails and the strongest pickaxes in the shop.

The Pickaxe Ladder: Power vs Cost
Every egg has health, and each swing of your pickaxe chips it down. Power is the break strength of a pickaxe, so a higher number opens sturdier eggs faster. You start with the Wooden Pickaxe at Power 1, and every upgrade buys from the Pickaxe Shop inside the Safe Zone with cash earned from animals placed in the Pen. The full ladder, from the same October 8, 2026 GameBoost guide, looks like this:
T, B, M, and K stand for trillions, billions, millions, and thousands. Qa stands for quadrillion. Power climbs roughly fourfold at most steps, but prices climb faster than Power, so the cost per point rises with every tier. The Stone Pickaxe costs $20 per point of Power while the Celestial Pickaxe costs $800,000 per point, and that premium pays for access to shells that mid-tier tools cannot crack in a reasonable time.

A rough pairing by zone: Forest takes Wooden to Iron, Desert takes Iron to Golden, Snowy takes Golden to Diamond, Candy takes Diamond to Cactus, Swamp takes Cactus and above, and Ocean takes Lightning to Rainbow and above. Buy the next pickaxe when eggs start taking too long to break, and buy a Trail instead when animals keep slipping away on the run home.

Demon King Rift: The Event Loop
The Demon King Rift is a timed event that takes place in the Volcano zone, and the whole loop plays out inside a dedicated Rift area with its own objective and its own currency. The details below come from a GameBoost guide updated October 9, 2026.

Entry begins when the server posts an announcement that a mysterious Rift has spawned inside the Volcano zone. Head over and step inside. The Rift interior displays its own remaining-time indicator, and the timer sets the limit for the whole run, so entering early gives you more room for everything that follows.

Inside the Rift, break event eggs to fill an Essence counter to 1,000/1,000. The counter is the single objective at this stage, and egg breaking takes priority over everything else until the bar completes. Once the counter hits its target, the interface switches to the Demon King objective and the combat phase begins. A cleared fight pays out event tokens that you spend in the event shop.

One recorded run captured the full payout structure:

Shop DetailRecorded Value

Clear reward686 red event tokens

Demon Egg price500 event tokens

Hatch odds for the six animals50%, 32%, 14.4%, 3%, 0.5%, 0.1%

The Demon Egg is labeled a limited-time offer on its shop card, and one clear covers its price with 186 tokens left over. The six hatch odds add up to exactly 100 percent. The first two animals hold most of the probability, and the final animal, which carries the rainbow mutation, has the smallest chance by a wide margin at 0.1%.

A second tab in the shop sells five potions, each covering a different part of the regular loop:

PotionMultiplierToken Price

Pickaxe Swing Potionx1.25400

Egg Growth Potionx2325

Cash Potionx2275

Treadmill Speed Potionx2250

Walk Speed Potionx1.25150

The item cards list no duration, so the length of each effect is not recorded. Plan your spending before the first purchase. The recorded payout covers one Demon Egg plus only the cheapest potion, so decide whether the egg or a stack of potions matters more to your account.

FAQ

Does Break and Steal an Egg have any working codes?
No developer-confirmed codes exist as of October 2026. A GameBoost guide states flatly that the developers have released no codes, so any string in a video description or on a fan page carries no developer backing. RoUniverse tracks six unverified strings (CYBERBIOME, BATSKINS, FUSEMACHINE, NEWUPDATE, SORRYFORDELAY, HALLOWEEN) that players have reported, and the honest read is to treat them as guesses until the developers confirm otherwise.

Why did my Sabertooth Egg verification fail?
Two reasons cover most failures. First, you must be a member of the ILGames x Eggs Community before the redemption will process. Second, the username box is case sensitive and expects your full name, so retype it with the exact capitalization of your account.

Which zone should I be playing in?
Match the zone to your Recommended Speed, not to your cash balance. Forest and Desert are for building your first Trail and pickaxe. Candy and Swamp are the mid-game money makers. Hell, Blossom, and Galaxy are endgame content that punish undergeared players hard. Dropping back to an easier zone to rebuild Speed beats forcing the next checkpoint.

Should I buy a Trail or a better pickaxe first?
Early on, buy a Trail first. Trails carry Speed multipliers, and Speed is what keeps stolen animals out of the guardian's reach. A pickaxe only shortens the time you spend standing at a shell. If animals are dying on the run home, more Power will not fix that.

Is Break and Steal an Egg free to play?
The game is free to join on Roblox. Trails can be bought with in-game Cash or Robux, and paying works as a shortcut, but Cash remains the free route to the same Trails.
