Quick Summary
  • Fisch is one of the biggest games on Roblox right now. The official page shows 5.0B+ visits, 3,692,887 favorites, and 63,466 concurrent players, with a build dated October 19, 2026.
  • Five codes were active on October 20, 2026: ThanksFor5B, FischFright2026, SCARLET, TemporarySubmarine, and CARBON.
  • ThanksFor5B needs level 25 and expires October 24, 2026 at 16:00 UTC. It is the only code that pays real Coins in bulk.
  • Two sources disagree on TemporarySubmarine. The official Fisch Wiki shows it expiring October 18, 2026 at 16:00 UTC, while PC Gamer and Beebom still list it as live. I explain how to settle it yourself.
  • Codes are not case sensitive, so thanksfor5b redeems exactly the same as ThanksFor5B.
Which Fisch codes still work (October 20, 2026)

Fisch is a fishing simulator made by WoozyNate. You cast, wait for a bite, then hold and click to keep the progress bar full. Every fish can roll mutations and rarities, and the official Roblox page says the game has more than 400,000 possible variations of fish. It crossed 5.0B visits, and the page was last updated October 19, 2026, so a fresh build was live while I was checking this list.

The codes below were still redeemable on October 20, 2026, with the reward each one actually pays.

One formatting note. The wiki prints code names with a Code suffix, like ThanksFor5BCode. That suffix is markup, not part of the code. The redemption box only takes ThanksFor5B, so drop the suffix.

The TemporarySubmarine disagreement

This is the only row where two reasonable sources contradict each other, and it is worth showing both readings instead of guessing.

The Official Fisch Wiki puts TemporarySubmarine in its expired table. It lists the code as added September 1, 2025 and expired October 18, 2026 at 16:00 UTC. That wiki page was last edited October 18, 2026, which is the same day the expiry was recorded.

PC Gamer and Beebom still show it as a live code, and PC Gamer's page was last updated October 19, 2026. GamesRadar moved it to the expired list in a snippet dated October 19.

Treat it as expiring on October 18. If it still redeems for you, fine, but do not build a plan around it. I would trust the official wiki on expiry dates because the developer posts codes to the same Discord channels the wiki editors watch.

How to redeem a Fisch code
  1. Launch Fisch from the Roblox app or the browser.
  2. Open the Settings menu. In most builds the button sits at the top centre of the screen, and the Codes section is in the left sidebar of that panel.
  3. Click into the text box under the Codes heading. Some builds label that box with the developer handle.
  4. Paste the code. It is not case sensitive, so ThanksFor5B and thanksfor5b both work.
  5. Press Enter or click Redeem. The reward list pops up immediately if the code accepted it.
  6. If nothing happens, the code is expired, mistyped, or you are below its level requirement.
If a code you know should work gives you a flat invalid message, close the game fully and relaunch. Fisch caches its code state when the client loads, so a session that started before a new code went live will not see it until you restart.

What each reward is actually worth

The codes pay three different currencies, and only one of them is normal money.

C$ is Fisch's regular cash. You spend it on rods, bait, boats, and appraisals. ThanksFor5B pays 5,000 C$ and FischFright2026 pays 2,026 C$. That is real progress early on and a rounding error once you are buying endgame gear.

Treats are a currency exclusive to the FischFright 3 event, and you exchange them for limited-time items at the event vendors. The wiki lists five ways to earn Treats: selling FischFright fish to the Frightful Merchant, finishing event NPC quests, trick-or-treating in the Caustic Hallow, opening Frightful Caskets, and fishing in the Frightful Pools. Code redemption is the sixth way, and it is the only one that costs nothing. FischFright 3 started October 17, 2026 at 16:00 UTC and its end date is still listed as to be announced.

Bobbers are cosmetic only. The wiki is blunt about this: bobbers have rarities but are entirely decorative and have no impact on gameplay whatsoever. The Doomsekkar and the Carbon are for looks, not for catching anything faster. If you want function from a code, ThanksFor5B is the one, because Instant Catcher bait is a genuine time saver.

The Doomsekkar name also belongs to something else in this event. There is a Doomsekkar mutation that multiplies a fish's sell value by eight, and a separate Doomsekkar Rod unlocked from the event. The bobber from the code is a cosmetic that shares the name with both. Do not expect it to raise your mutation odds.

One reward is worth flagging even though it came from an expired code. SaveNate was a one-day code that paid 67 C$, 10 Instant Catcher, 5 Luminous Larva, and a title. The wiki shows it expiring October 11, 2026 at 16:00 UTC, roughly 24 hours after it went up. That is the normal pattern here: short window, small payout. New codes usually land on a Friday or a Saturday, so those are the days to check.

Getting Fisch codes before anyone else

Codes are announced by the developers, usually after a major update or as compensation for long maintenance. The official Fisch Wiki says they appear in the game's Discord server and on the official X account. In Discord the codes turn up in three channels: announcements, sub-announcements, and updates. The wiki also notes that codes are not case sensitive and that they redeem from the Codes section of the Settings menu.

Beyond codes, the joining bonus is worth grabbing. You get about 200 C$ the first time you load in. Quests are the more reliable long-term source of rods and bobbers, and event participation pays out whenever a limited event is running, which is exactly what FischFright 3 is right now.

FAQ

Why is my Fisch code not working?

Three reasons cover almost every case. The code expired, which is the most common one. You are below its level requirement, which applies to ThanksFor5B at level 25. Or the game client loaded before the code went live, in which case a full restart fixes it. Fisch caches code state on load.

Are Fisch codes case sensitive?

No. The Official Fisch Wiki states that codes are not case sensitive and can be redeemed from the Codes section of the Settings menu. thanksfor5b works the same as ThanksFor5B.

How long do Fisch codes stay active?

It varies a lot. CARBON has never expired since January 25, 2025. SCARLET runs to December 15, 2026. FischFright2026 runs to November 9, 2026. ThanksFor5B was only live for a week, October 17 to October 24. SaveNate lasted about a day. Short event codes are the norm, so redeem the same day you see them.

Does the Doomsekkar bobber help me catch better fish?

No. The wiki is explicit that bobbers are entirely decorative and have no impact on gameplay whatsoever. It is a cosmetic reward, not a progression item.

What is the difference between C$ and Treats?

C$ is Fisch's permanent currency for rods, bait, and boats. Treats are exclusive to FischFright 3 and buy limited-time event items. Treats stop being useful when the event ends, so spend them before the event closes.

How do I get Treats without codes?

Sell FischFright fish to the Frightful Merchant, complete event NPC quests, trick-or-treat in the Caustic Hallow, open Frightful Caskets, or catch fish from the Frightful Pools. The wiki lists all five as Treat sources, plus code redemption as the sixth.

Where do the codes come from?

The developer announces them in the official Fisch Discord server and on the official X account. In Discord they appear in the announcements, sub-announcements, and updates channels. The wiki page is the fastest single reference because it also records the level requirement and the expiry for each one.
