Roblox Fall Games 2026: What Shipped, What Is Still Waiting, and How to Check a Game Before You Play
Posted: Wed Oct 21, 2026 2:11 pm
Quick Summary
Roblox published the Fall Games Preview on September 2, 2026 through its newsroom, written by Vlad Loktev, Chief Creator Ecosystem Officer. The post names ten experiences built by third party studios, several of which came through the Jumpstart and Incubator creator programs that Roblox launched at its Game Developers Conference in March 2026.
Incubator is the six month, milestone driven track for teams that already have a working prototype. Jumpstart is the always open counterpart for creators newer to the platform or trying a concept they have not built on Roblox before. Roblox has said both programs push toward RPG, strategy and shooter genres, which is exactly what the fall lineup looks like.
The preview is explicit that these are windows, not dates. Each entry carries a label like "Early September", "Mid-September", "Late September" or simply "October". No clock times and no day level dates appear anywhere in the post.
The September wave
Six games carried September windows, and by late September all six were live.
Four games carried October windows. Checking them against the live platform tells a different story than the preview did.
Game | Studio | Roblox's window | State on the platform
Starforged | Studio Making Fun | October | Playable in early access
Octane | Ignition Switch | October | Demo closed, waiting on next phase
Prime Heroes | SuperGaming | October | Not found by name in search
Scrapbook Saga | FadedBFox and Xeycrow | October | Not found by name in search
Starforged is the only one you can play today. Its Roblox page carries the title Starforged with Early Access appended to the name, and it is published by the group Starforged by Making Fun, the studio Roblox names in the preview. The page shows 668 favorites and more than 63,300 visits, a last update of September 15, 2026, a server size of 50, and a genre listing of RPG with an Action RPG subgenre. Its maturity label is Mild with a Violence (Repeated/Mild) descriptor.
The description is unusually candid for a Roblox page. It calls itself an early beta, warns that "progress may be reset (probably not, but possible)", and promises that if a reset happens, players get back 100% of the Gems they bought. That refund promise is the thing to note. It means the studio is openly admitting the save data is not safe yet.
Octane is not playable, and its page says why. The listing is titled "Octane - Early Access Demo" and is published by the Ignition Switch community. Walkthroughs.net reported on October 8 that the page displays a notice saying the early access demo period has ended and asking players to watch Ignition Switch's announcements for what comes next. My own read of the page on October 21 showed no running experiences, which is what you would expect from a closed demo.
Prime Heroes and Scrapbook Saga were hard to find. Endgame Tools checked Roblox's search on October 1 and again on October 11 and reported that neither name appeared in the first 40 results. A separate tracker for Prime Heroes lists the game as released in October 2026 but carries zero active codes and no redeem code system at all yet.
To be fair to Roblox, the preview says Prime Heroes entered early access in September with six playable heroes and sixteen more in development. A game can be in early access under a different page name, or reachable only through a community link rather than a search result. The honest position is that the preview promised an October window and, as of the last check, the title was not findable by name.
What the charts say
Endgame Tools reported on October 9 that none of the ten fall games appeared in its chart of the 50 most played, trending or upcoming Roblox experiences. The monthly picture has not changed much. RoStats ranks October 2026 by average players and puts Steal An Egg first at 1,452,372 average players with a peak of 12,443,225. The rest of the top ten is Brookhaven RP, Adopt Me!, Murder Mystery 2, 99 Nights in the Forest, Blox Fruits, RIVALS, Dandy's World in its ALPHA build, Jujutsu Shenanigans and Steal a Brainrot.
Eight games entered RoStats' top 50 during October, and none of them is a fall preview title. The pattern is consistent: the games Roblox is funding through Incubator and Jumpstart are landing, but they are not yet competing with the established hits for players.
How to check a game before you play
Roblox's own preview is a good starting point, but it is a marketing post and it will not tell you whether a game is actually running. Three things on a game's own page will.
Are the Roblox fall 2026 games out yet?
Partly. All six September titles went live in their windows. Of the four October titles, Starforged is playable in early access, Octane's demo has closed, and Prime Heroes and Scrapbook Saga were not findable by name in Roblox search as of October 11.
Can I play Starforged on Roblox right now?
Yes, in early access. The page is live with 668 favorites and more than 63,300 visits, a 50 player server size, and an RPG genre listing. Its description warns that progress may be reset and promises a full refund of any Gems purchased if that happens.
Why can't I find Prime Heroes on Roblox?
It may be in early access under a page name that does not surface in search, or reachable only through SuperGaming's community link. Roblox's preview says early access began in September with six playable heroes, but Endgame Tools found no game under that name in the first 40 search results on October 1 and October 11.
Is Octane on Roblox a full release?
No. The listing is titled "Octane - Early Access Demo" and, according to Walkthroughs.net, it displays a notice that the demo period has ended. The October window in Roblox's preview appears to refer to the next phase of the rollout, not a continuously playable game.
Did any of the fall games become popular?
Not on the charts we can measure. None of the ten appeared in the top 50 most played, trending or upcoming Roblox experiences on October 9, and none is in RoStats' October top ten, which is led by Steal An Egg at 1,452,372 average players.
Should I trust a game's preview window as a release date?
Treat it as a month, not a day. Roblox labels entries "Early September", "Late September" or "October" with no clock times, and the October titles show what that vagueness costs. Check the game's own page for the creator name, the last updated date and any access conditions in the description before you plan around it.

- Roblox gives month long windows, not dates, so a game listed for October can mean a new access phase rather than a finished product you can play right now.

The September wave
Six games carried September windows, and by late September all six were live.
- Showdown: The Showdown Cup (SuperGaming, early September). A first person shooter with anime inspired abilities the studio calls Jutsus. SuperGaming launched an in game tournament, the Showdown Cup, and built an Esports Arena into the game's Shibuya inspired hub.
- Monster in the Mansion (Ubermonster Productions, early September). Cooperative survival horror for up to eight players. Teams enter Doctor Mondo's mansion to find an antidote while a mutating monster hunts them.
- GOAT Football League (Red Wolves Studios, early September). Multiplayer football played by goats, from an Argentina based studio.
- Nemesis (RoyalFire Legends, mid September). A competitive shooter that switches between first and third person, with grappling, a hoverboard, wall running and see through walls.
- Fossil Force (Nibblebyte, late September). Player versus environment dinosaur hunting with directional audio and biome specific lighting and weather.
- Caramel (Elbside Studios, late September). A 2D pixel art farming sim, built with custom 2D graphics technology rather than Roblox's usual blocky 3D look.

Roblox's own preview is a good starting point, but it is a marketing post and it will not tell you whether a game is actually running. Three things on a game's own page will.
- Check the creator name under the title. Starforged's page lists the group "Starforged [by Making Fun]", which matches the studio Roblox names. If the creator does not match, you are looking at an imitation.
- Check the last updated date. Starforged's page shows September 15, 2026. A game whose page has not moved in weeks is a game in maintenance, not a game you can expect to be patched soon.
- Read the description for access conditions. Starforged's warns that progress may be reset. Octane's demo notice says the demo has ended. That is where the real status lives, not in the preview post.
