Quick Summary
  • Evade is a Roblox action parkour chase game from Hexagon Development Community. You and up to 15 players drop onto a map and run from nextbots, flat PNG creatures that chase and kill on sight. The official page lists it at 9.3 billion visits, 8.5 million favorites and 49,226 active players when this was written.
  • The Halloween 2026 event is live now, running from October 17 to November 21, 2026. Wisps spawn on the maps as event currency, the battle pass has 8 tiers and 76 items, and 10 items return from earlier Halloween events at a higher price.
  • Survival Streak changed on October 20, 2026. Streak restores are now possible for 10 minutes after a loss, vouchers can restore a streak of 5 or more, and staying alive for 2 minutes counts as +1 toward the count.
  • Wisps come in three pickup values: 1 for the eye wisp, 4 for the blue skull wisp, and 10 for the purple skull wisp. Spellbooks spawn alongside them and grant speed, jump or invulnerability for 10 seconds.
  • Codes are thin right now and the trackers disagree. Pocket Tactics lists two live codes, Twinfinite lists 15, Pro Game Guides lists 23, and Dexerto lists four. Details below.
What Evade Is
Evade is a chase game. A round starts with your group spawned onto a map, the nextbots wake up, and the whole round is one long run. There is no goal to complete and nothing to shoot back at in the default mode. You survive by moving better than the thing chasing you.

The official Roblox page describes it as an action parkour game where movement is the key to surviving the nextbots. The game page lists a server size of 15, a Mild maturity rating broken into Fear (Repeated/Mild) and Violence (Repeated/Mild), and the Survival genre. Cross-play is on, so the same server mixes PC, mobile, console and tablet players.

Hexagon Development Community is the developer, and the game has been running since 2022. Tokens and Experience were the first currencies, added on July 22, 2022, and the first event currency, Tickets, arrived with the Halloween 2022 update on October 23, 2022. That matters if you are trying to understand why the event systems feel so layered. This game has accumulated five years of seasonal mechanics on top of each other.

The thing to know about nextbots is that they are not models in the usual sense. They are flat images with a walking animation, and they path across the map on a nav-mesh grid. If a map has no nav-mesh, the nextbots do not move at all and just stand where they spawned. A nextbot hits for 125 damage, which is lethal to a full-health player in one hit, so there is no trading damage with one.

The Halloween 2026 Event
Halloween 2026 is the fortieth update to the game. It launched on October 17, 2026 and runs to November 21, 2026. The event is a full pass rather than a cosmetic drop.

Three new Halloween maps shipped with it: Alien Metropolis, Cyber Station and Ruined Citadel. Eight or more returned maps came back with the event, including Catacombs, City of Sinners, Fazbear Pizzeria, Hallow Rails, Mictlan, Necropolis, Pumpkin Emporium, Sinister Streets, Tudor Manor and Warped Estate. Three existing maps got a Halloween decoration pass: Bedroom, Drab Small and Desert Bus.

Four new nextbots are part of the event, all variants of one character: Glorp Cat, Glorp Cat Jetpack, Glorp Cat UFO and Glorp Cat Rover. They are listed as 3D nextbots and as special nextbots, which is a step up from the usual flat PNG format.

The battle pass has 8 tiers and 76 items. The wiki puts the total price at 9,979 wisps, with 10 items from earlier Halloween events returning at a higher price than they had originally. Event currencies cannot be spent in the normal item shop at all, they only work on the battle pass.

There is also a limited Glorp Cat Set, a community-made bundle of 12 or more item skins, 2 emotes, 2 carry animations, 1 nametag and 1 character. The Eclipse Set came back on sale for the event. The event description states that all gamepass sets, new and old, were reduced to 500 Robux for the duration.

Wisps, Spellbooks and the Two Other Currencies
Event currency in Evade works the same way every season. It spawns on the map, you walk over it to pick it up, and you spend it on the event battle pass. Wisps replaced Bubbles, which was the Summer 2026 currency.

Wisps come in three sizes. An eye wisp is worth 1, a blue skull wisp is worth 4, and a purple skull wisp is worth 10. They do not stack into a bigger pickup, so a purple skull is not just three eye wisps, it is ten.

Wisp and ticket pickups
  • Eye wisp: pickup value 1
  • Blue skull wisp: pickup value 4
  • Purple skull wisp: pickup value 10
  • Red ticket (Halloween 2022): pickup value 1
  • Orange ticket (Halloween 2022): pickup value 4
  • Gold ticket (Halloween 2022): pickup value 10
  • Normal voucher: pickup value 1, earned from event quests only
  • Spellbook: no currency value, grants speed, jump or invulnerability for 10 seconds
That ticket list is not a mistake. Tickets were the Halloween 2022 currency and the wiki still documents the same 1, 4 and 10 pickup values for them. If you see those numbers quoted in an old guide, they are talking about 2022 tickets, not this year's wisps. Same three sizes, different name.

Voucher is the other new currency this event. It is not picked up from the map. The only way to get one is to finish the weekly event quests, and it is spent on a free revive or on restoring a Survival Streak. That is a much narrower use than wisps.

Tokens and Points are the two currencies you actually grind. Tokens buy equipment in the shop and come from finishing rounds, daily missions, codes, event exchange, daily rewards, or a Robux purchase. Points buy cosmetics in the daily shop and come from daily missions, daily rewards, the Robux shop or event exchange. XP is not spendable, it only fills your level bar, and Wins just record how many rounds you survived.

Event currency rewards are boosted by where you play. Event maps carry a 25 percent bonus, and harder difficulties pay more than easier ones, running Expert, Hard, Normal, Easy. Some hard special rounds also pay more.

How the Survival Streak Works Now
Survival Streak was added on October 13, 2024 in the Overhaul update. It counts how many rounds you have won in a row. The streak resets if you fully die, or if you are still downed when the round ends. Spending Robux to respawn inside a round does not save the streak.

To count a round at all you have to stay alive for 3 minutes. On the Casual gamemode the requirement is 4 minutes. The streak does not count if you spent the round in a camping zone, and the Social Space gamemode neither counts nor loses streaks.

Survival Streak rules after October 20, 2026
  1. A lost streak can be restored for 10 minutes, but only your highest streak.
  2. Vouchers can restore a streak of 5 or more.
  3. Staying alive for 2 minutes or more in a round adds +1 to the count.
  4. Dying and respawning no longer kills the streak, provided you stay alive for more than 2 minutes afterwards.
  5. You must join a round with at least 2 minutes left on the clock or it does not count at all.
  6. Casual gamemode has a 0.75x wisp spawn rate, so it is worse for farming event currency.
Item XP also changed on October 18, 2026. Earning XP for items now requires at least 2 minutes of survival time before it applies. That lines up with the streak change two days later, so both systems now assume you stay in the round rather than leaving early.

Codes: What Is Actually Working
This is the part where the sources genuinely disagree, so here is each list as it stands rather than a merged version.

Codes every source agrees on
  • iloveevade: Pocket Tactics says 350 tokens and 10 points. Pro Game Guides lists it as free rewards and flagged it new on October 19, 2026. The wiki says it gives 1,000 tokens, 10 points and 20 wisps.
  • HALLOWEEN2026: Pocket Tactics and Pro Game Guides both say 40 tickets. Dexerto says 40 wisps. The wiki says 40 wisps.
Codes only some sources list
  • Pocket Tactics, updated October 20, 2026, lists exactly two working codes: iloveevade and HALLOWEEN2026. Its expired list includes HappyNewYears2026, THANKSGIVING2025, indebt, indebt2, 901, 900, halloween_23, evadethebirthdayboy, summeroopsies, summeroopsies2, barrierbroke, march1stincident, theaftermath, apology, thebig5, 222, 444, hdc_roblox, iloveevadewinterupdate, gullible, therealdeal, SUMMER2026, isurviveddatahaul, HAPPY4THBIRTHDAYEVADE and stpatricks2026.
  • Twinfinite, updated October 22, 2026, lists 15 codes as working: iloveevade, HALLOWEEN2026, indebt, indebt2, halloween_23, hdc_roblox, 901, 900, evadethebirthdayboy, barrierbroke, lunaryear, newday, apology, thebig5, 222 and 444. Note that this list includes lunaryear and newday, which Pocket Tactics does not carry.
  • Pro Game Guides, updated October 19, 2026, lists 23 active codes, including iloveevadewinterupdate, THANKSGIVING2025, indebt, indebt2, halloween_23, hdc_roblox, 901, 900, evadethebirthdayboy, summeroopsies, summeroopsies2, barrierbroke, theaftermath, march1stincident, lunaryear, newday, apology, thebig5, 222 and 444.
  • Dexerto, updated October 19, 2026, lists four codes as active: HALLOWEEN2026, Summer2026, isurviveddatahaul and TrollgeTungTungEyelessBaldiBacteriaPacmanDefect. Pocket Tactics lists all three of those last three as expired.
  • Pocket Gamer retired its Evade codes page on October 3, 2026, so it is no longer a useful reference for this.
The honest read is that iloveevade and HALLOWEEN2026 are safe, and everything else is a coin flip between trackers. Try them, and if one is rejected do not keep retrying it. Codes are case sensitive and a single wrong character returns invalid.

How to Redeem
  1. Launch Evade on Roblox.
  2. On the main menu, open the codes panel. It is the Twitter bird icon, and its position differs by source: Pro Game Guides and Twinfinite put it at the bottom left of the screen, Pocket Tactics puts it on the bar on the right side of the main screen, and Dexerto describes it as the CODES option on the right side of the main menu. Open the main menu and look for the Twitter icon.
  3. Paste the code into the text box exactly as written. Case matters.
  4. Press Enter or hit Redeem.
  5. Watch the response. An accepted code credits instantly. A rejected code returns invalid, which means a typo or an expired code.
  6. Check the official Hexagon Development Community Discord if a code fails. The developer shares new codes there rather than through influencers.
Controls You Need Before the First Round
  • E: interact
  • G: emote
  • 1, 3 or F: equip item
  • 2: open the usables menu
  • C or Ctrl: crouch
  • T: whistle
  • M: menu
  • N: VIP menu
The whistle is the one most players ignore and it is the most useful button in the game. It makes noise on demand, which means you can pull a nextbot to a spot you choose instead of waiting for it to wander onto you. It is also how you check whether a room is empty before you commit to it.

Crouching is quieter than walking and walking is quieter than sprinting. Nextbots announce themselves before you can see them: an idle audio cue that gets louder, flickering lights, and a red or black screen filter that increases in intensity as the bot gets closer. That filter is your real warning system, not your ears.

How to Actually Survive a Round
The single biggest mistake new players make is running in a straight line away from the nextbot. The nextbot paths on a nav-mesh and it will take the shortest route to you every time. Your advantage is that you can go places it cannot.
  1. Stop sprinting when you do not need the speed. Sprinting is the loudest thing you do.
  2. Never sit in a camping zone if you care about your streak. A round spent there does not count.
  3. Check your surroundings for the nav-mesh boundary. A nextbot that cannot reach you has to teleport, and the August 2026 change pushed nextbot teleport time up to 7 seconds and made them deprioritise players they cannot path to. That is a window you can spend.
  4. Use the whistle to pull a bot away from a route you need, then break line of sight and cut back.
  5. Do not respawn in a round you intend to count. The Robux respawn resets the streak.
  6. Leave the round only after the 3 minute mark if you want it to count toward your streak. On Casual, you need 4 minutes.
  7. Join rounds with more than 2 minutes left, or the round does not count toward anything.
  8. Turn your flashlight off unless you need it. Lights reveal you, and a lit room is a beacon.
The meta right now favours joining the Hexagon Development Community Roblox group for a 5 percent reward multiplier and playing with friends for 3 percent per friend up to 15 percent. There is also a friend referral that pays 15 points for an invite and 10 more points once you have played together for 10 minutes. If you play with a regular group, that is real currency on every round.

FAQ

When does the Halloween 2026 event end?
November 21, 2026. It started October 17, 2026, so that is roughly five weeks of event. The wiki lists the window as October 17 to November 21, 2026.

How many wisps do I need for the whole battle pass?
The wiki puts the total at 9,979 wisps across 8 tiers and 76 items, with 10 returned items priced higher than they were originally. Wisps spawn in pickups of 1, 4 and 10, so this is a grind measured in hours rather than one sitting.

Can I buy wisps with Robux?
No. Wisps are event currency that only spawns on maps and cannot be spent in the normal item shop. Tokens, the shop currency, are the one you can buy with Robux.

Do Evade codes expire?
Yes, and fast. Pocket Tactics listed SUMMER2026, stpatricks2026 and isurviveddatahaul as expired by October 20, 2026, which means a code from one event was dead before the next one started. Dexerto noted that codes rarely release for this game and mostly show up around updates or milestones.

Why is my streak not going up?
Three likely reasons. You are still downed when the round ends, you spent the round in a camping zone, or you did not survive the full 3 minutes. Casual needs 4 minutes. A streak also only counts if you joined with at least 2 minutes left on the round.

How many nextbots can be active at once?
Two, three or four depending on the round, and only one spawns when the server is crowded. Special rounds like Double Trouble and Triple Trouble change that number. The wiki counts over 180 nextbots in the game in total, 282 if you include removed and legacy entries.

Is Evade on mobile and console?
Yes. The Roblox page lists the game as updated on October 20, 2026 and cross-play is on by default. The October 2026 patches specifically fixed loading and movement problems on console, mobile and PC, so the event is playable on all of them.
