Quick Summary
  • Jailbreak is Badimo's cops-and-robbers open world, released in April 2017, with more than 18.6 million favourites and 8.0B+ visits.[1]
  • Season 33: Prehistoric is over. The Velociraptor is no longer obtainable and the Extinction Rim is now a top-2% prize.[2]
  • Season 34 has not been announced. asimo3089 said the season system pauses after Season 33, so the grand-prize race is finished for now.[3]
  • Robbery Groups are gone. Four robberies can run at once, queued robberies open when one closes, and Museum plus Tomb auto-close after five minutes on a solo server.[5]
  • The game is in an anti-cheat push. Badimo says it is focused on cheating before rolling out the remaining updates.[1]
What Jailbreak Actually Is
Jailbreak is the cops-and-robbers open world that Badimo has been updating since 2017. You pick a side, either Criminal or Police, and the map is one shared city with a prison, two banks, a jewelry store, a museum, a power plant, a cargo dock and a military zone. Criminals break out and rob locations. Police arrest them and spend the cash they earn on the same vehicles.[1]

The official Roblox page lists the place at Maturity Mild, Action genre, Open World Action subgenre, server size 30, updated October 7 2026, with 18,687,666 favourites and 8.0B+ visits.[1] Badimo's own description reads "Organize a robbery or catch criminals! Go together or solo! And find the fastest cars to rule the server." and credits Badcc and Epic_Tank on code with asimo3089 and the community on build.[1]

That line about finding the fastest cars is not decoration. Vehicles are the core loop. A third-party vehicle guide counts more than 120 vehicles across eight classes, with over 40 older rides retired to trading only.[7]

The 2026 Update Trail
Badimo runs two update tracks. Main updates carry new vehicles, locations and systems. Miscellaneous updates are small fixes and revamps. The wiki's update log records the recent run like this:[2]
  • August 14, 2026 - mobile UI size and position settings, desktop and console keybinds, vehicle tuning features, security improvements, and the vehicle stereo.[2]
  • August 18, 2026 - fixed NPCs not dealing damage to players, a placement limit of 6 on Moycc Home Decor, disabled ragdoll stun from The Boulder in trading, a Settings page fix and a console reload-bind fix.[2]
  • September 17, 2026 - The Hunt: Roblox 20 Event. A free Star-Truck revamp with a working tailgate, six vehicle renames including Cybertruck to Star-Truck and Delorean to Duskrunner, a 2017 themed map, and 0% Window Tint.[2]
  • September 28, 2026 - The Hunt: Roblox 20 Event ended.[2]
  • October 8, 2026 - Double XP event for Season 33: Prehistoric.[2]
  • October 13, 2026 - Season 33: Prehistoric ended. Velociraptor no longer obtainable, Extinction Rim now a top-2% prize.[2]
The Renaming Update on September 17 2026 is worth calling out on its own because it broke muscle memory for a lot of players. Cybertruck became Star-Truck, Camaro became Comet, Model 3 became 3-EV, Challenger became Outlaw, Delorean became Duskrunner and Jeep became Jammer.[2] If a chat message tells you to "bring the Camaro" and nothing spawns, that is why.

Season 34: What We Actually Know
Nothing is announced, and the honest answer is that the season format itself may be done for now. asimo3089 said the current season system will be paused after Season 33, with no new seasons until it potentially returns.[3] The wiki's season page lists Season 33: Prehistoric as the last entry.[3]

Season 33: Prehistoric shipped August 14 2026 as the JURASSIC season. It added the Velociraptor, a bone-textured vehicle with turrets and working suspension arms, plus Dino Egg Tire Style, a 3D Rex Home-Decor item and the Extinction Event Drift, and a Season 33 hype zone.[2]

The important mechanic to understand is that season prizes expire. When a season ends, its grand prize car becomes unobtainable and moves to trading only. Season 32's Samurai went the same way on August 11 2026, when the Samurai became unobtainable and the Stoplight Wing became a top-2% prize.[2] That is why players grind the season pass even when they do not care about the current theme.

The Season Economy
Seasons were revamped in the Season 17 update. Leveling runs on XP from robberies, kills and arrests, backed by weekly contracts. The daily ceiling is 80 XP without the Season Pass and 120 XP with it.[3] When the limit resets the server prints "[Server] Everyone's daily exp limit has been reset!", and when contracts refresh it prints "[System] New contracts are available for you to complete!"[3]

Season Pass owners also get four extra reward items across the levels and one extra contract per team.[3]

Note the last row. Buying the pass widens the track, it does not gate the grand prize car, so the decision is about the bonus items and the extra contract, not about whether you can still finish the season.

Robbery Groups Are Gone
This is the change most likely to confuse returning players, because it has happened twice. From the Fall 2023 Update until the Revamped Robbing Update, robberies ran in four rotating groups on an 8-minute timer with a 20-second delay between groups and a 4-minute grace period when a timer expired mid-robbery.[5] Players disliked it and Badimo replaced it.

The current system is the Dynamic Robbery System. Four robberies can be open at the same time, not counting the Gas Station, Donut Shop, Grocery Store, Bank Truck or Mansion. Extra robberies ready to open sit in a queue and open when one closes. Each robbery has a set timer before it can reopen and stays open until it is robbed. The Museum and the Tomb are the exceptions, they auto-close after five minutes if only one person is in the server.[5]

The Aura Improvement Project listed the removal of Robbery Groups as one of its three headline changes, so this was a deliberate design choice rather than a bug fix.[6]
  1. Open a stationary robbery such as the Jewelry Store.
  2. Watch the robbery icon. Stationary heists flash their icons while open. Moving heists such as the Cargo Plane just close off when they end their route.[5]
  3. If a robbery is already open, the next one in the queue opens when it closes. Nothing is lost by waiting.
  4. Avoid the Museum and Tomb on a solo server. They close on a five-minute timer if you are alone, so bring a group or pick a different target.[5]
The Garage, and the Real Risks
Robbery cash buys vehicles at their spawn spots, from a 5,000 runabout up to the 2,500,000 Concept. Vehicles costing under 100,000 can be respawned after they are destroyed.[7] Six garages handle paint, rims, spoilers and textures.[7]

Customization is not cosmetic only. Overdrive is the mechanic that decides most chases: a few vehicles get a second burst of speed past their normal limit. The 5,000 Deja is the cheapest way to try it, the Delorean jumps from 105 to 188 miles per hour, the Black Widow passes 300, and the Scorpion climbs from 140 past 400.[7] If a fast car looks suspiciously cheap, overdrive is usually the reason.

The speed crown is contested. The Scorpion and the Bluebird are the two names that come up, and the 50,000 Jet Ski is the fastest cheap buy in the game.[7] The Bluebird drops from Legend Safes at a 2 percent chance.[7]

Retired vehicles cannot be bought at any price. The Torpedo was a 2018 season prize and has been unobtainable since 2019. The Javelin was sold for 48 hours in 2022.[7] Trading is the only route to both, and trading outside the official menu is the fastest way to lose a garage.[7]

Seven gamepasses sit in the store, with one more only reachable inside the Jailbreak Ban Jail. The most expensive is Very Important Player at 400 Robux and the cheapest is Bigger Duffel Bag Tier 2 at 20 Robux.[4] On April 2 2026 Roblox Subscriptions arrived in Jailbreak with the VIP Monthly subscription at 239 Robux per month.[4]

The Bigger Duffel Bag is the one most guides recommend first because it raises cash per heist rather than adding a perk. Its tiers multiply carrying capacity: Tier 2 is 1.33x, Tier 3 is 1.66x and Tier 4 is 2x.[4] A Jewelry Store that pays 2,750 without it pays 5,500 at Tier 4.[4]

Codes: The Sources Disagree, So Here Is Both
Code lists on Jailbreak change fast and the reputable trackers do not match each other this month. Dexerto, updated October 6 2026, lists three active codes: YoutubeHelloItsVG for the HelloItsVG Tire Sticker, YoutubeNoobFreak for the NoobFreak Tire Sticker, and BigMac8241 for 555 cash.[8] Pocket Gamer, updated October 3 2026, lists only the two sticker codes and marks BigMac8241 as expired.[9] Beebom also tracks the list on its own schedule.[10]

Both readings are worth knowing. Redeem the two sticker codes first since both trackers agree on them, then try BigMac8241 and treat it as a bonus if it works.[8][9]
  • Find any ATM on the map. They are dotted around the city.
  • Press E to interact with it.
  • Type the code into the box that pops up.
  • Click Confirm to claim the reward.
That redemption flow is the same one Dexerto documents and it is identical to Pocket Gamer's description.[8][9] Codes reward cash and cosmetic stickers, and Jailbreak does not get new codes often, which is exactly why a stale list is so easy to hit.[8]

FAQ
When does Jailbreak Season 34 start?
Nobody has announced it. asimo3089 said the current season system pauses after Season 33 with no new seasons until it potentially returns, and the wiki lists Prehistoric as the final season.[3] Treat any Season 34 countdown you see on social media as a guess.

Is Jailbreak still updated in 2026?
Yes, but on a slower cadence. The wiki records a main update on September 17 2026 and three miscellaneous updates between August 18 and October 13 2026.[2] The official page also carries a note that Badimo is focused on cheating before rolling out the remaining updates.[1]

How many robberies can be open at once in Jailbreak?
Four, not counting the Gas Station, Donut Shop, Grocery Store, Bank Truck or Mansion. Additional robberies queue and open when one closes.[5]

How do you get the Velociraptor in Jailbreak now?
You cannot, unless someone trades it to you. Season 33: Prehistoric ended on October 13 2026 and the Velociraptor became unobtainable.[2]

What is the fastest car in Jailbreak?
The sources point at the Scorpion, which passes 400 miles per hour in overdrive, and the Bluebird, which drops from Legend Safes at 2 percent.[7] Among vehicles you can simply buy, the 50,000 Jet Ski is the standout.[7]

What is the most expensive vehicle in Jailbreak?
The Concept at 2,500,000 in-game cash.[7]

Is the VIP gamepass worth it in Jailbreak?
That depends on how much you play. It costs 400 Robux and sits at the top of the price range.[4] The Bigger Duffel Bag is the cheaper first buy if your goal is raw cash income, since it multiplies what every heist pays.[4]
